Our client Highfield Energy was looking for enhanced brand exposure in the Tank Terminal Recruitment sector. Together, the Sunblink marketing team worked closely with Tom to develop a solution that involved actively participating at key industry events around the country. Our approach was centred around creating a compelling presence that not only showcased our client as the leading recruiters in their niche but also strategically positioned them in a way to be able to attract top talent, foster valuable partnerships, and reinforce their status as industry pioneers.

Client Background:

Our client, an industry leader in the Tank Terminal Recruitment sector, sought to enhance their visibility and engagement at last year’s TSA Conference and Exhibition. With ambitious goals to connect with clients, showcase their talent for head hunting, and reinforce brand recognition, they entrusted our marketing team with the task of organising their participation.

Planning and Coordination:

Our team meticulously planned every aspect of the exhibition to ensure a seamless and impactful presence for our client. This involved coordinating travel, accommodation, the creation of promotional materials and stand setup. 

On the day:

Aliyah, a member of the marketing team attended the event with our client to set up the stand, deal with administrative tasks/queries, and help with the running of the day. Having Aliyah on the stand at all times gave Tom and Donovan the flexibility to chat with event attendees, browse other stands and grab a coffee with potential clients. 

Exhibition Costs Breakdown:

Effective budgeting is crucial to ensure a smooth financial process and to avoid any unexpected surprises. Breaking down costs helped in identifying and allocating resources appropriately. Here are all the costs from the exhibition:

The stand – the centrepiece of our client’s presence, the Highfield Energy Stand provided a professional and eye-catching platform to showcase their business and engage with attendees.

Additional Third Guest Pass – the additional guest pass allowed our client to bring an extra team member to maximise their networking opportunities.

Hotel Rooms – ensuring a comfortable stay for our client and their team, three rooms were booked at a hotel conveniently located near the exhibition venue.

Food and Drinks – socialising is a crucial aspect of such events. Allocated funds for food and drinks facilitated networking and relationship-building.

Roller Banners – investing in promotionalmaterials is essential. Vistaprint services were utilised to print essential marketing collateral.

Branded Notepads, Pens, Bags, Business Cards – a well-branded stand is memorable. This cost covered branded giveaways that served as both promotional items and useful tools for potential clients.

Results and Impact:

The meticulous planning and execution paid off, with our client experiencing 68 stand visitors, 35 potential or existing clients spoken to, and 3 follow up calls.
